I work in natural fiber felt; both needle and wet felting. I create soft sculptures, and also use surface decoration and spin my own yarn for embellishment. I have been working in felt for about 20 years, initially exclusively in wet felted garments. I combined my early obsession with horses with felting and began with a few soft sculpture horses. I currently employ both needle felting and wet felting techniques to make jewelry, ornaments, wearables, containers, and many different kinds of creatures: horses, cats, dogs, dragons, bulls, sheep, and mythical creatures.
